Suppliers and manufacturers can use HTV as an educational platform to increase sales and awareness.
How It Works
Viewers have free access to experience and examine hundreds of videos on all topics: equipment and machinery, health products, tack, clothing, blankets, feeds, nutritional items, fencing, solar, trailers, stalls, grooming supplies, barns and buildings.
Equine enthusiasts continually seek informative, quality content on how-to: what is the best material for a winter horse blanket? How do you change spark plugs in older model John Deere tractors? What fence should I choose for our farm? The information HTV provides helps them choose your products.
Additional advantages
Viewers will have the chance to click and explore further as the pages are linked to your site.
Categories help the searcher with quick reference: Fencing/Blankets/Solar Power/ Trailers/ Stalls/Grooming/Small Barn Equipment/ Machinery/ Western Tack/ English Tack/Health Products/Feeds/ Barns & Buildings. Additional categories will be created as needed.
What do I need to supply?
Ideally, if you have your own video produced it may be applicable for HTV.
If you don’t have any video, we can create one for you using just your still photos. Send us your best photos and narrative copy or your sales brochure and we can edit a video for you.
Guidelines
Video
1. All video files must be supplied in a format that we can transfer to FLV (flash video).
2. Stick to one idea per video.
3. Logos and banners may appear throughout video subliminally, as with signage, company vehicles or any other non-verbal announcement.
4. No ‘advertorial’ content, such as statements as “we are the best” or “we can be found everywhere”. We want our customers to experience rich, pure content.
5. You may state who you are and what company you are from (“Hello, I’m ___ ____ of _______. Today we’re going to learn…).
6. You may shoot on your property, in your facility, warehouse, office; wherever you need to produce quality material.
Video Length
We suggest you break up your videos, as it is easier for viewers to sit through shorter versions. You want your video to be viewed in full. Divide each segment and title them to attract viewers. It also appears you have a fuller range of information when the videos are shorter and plentiful. For example, a blanket manufacturer with a 22 minute video on how to choose a winter blanket may divide 22 minutes into ‘Part 1 How To Choose the Right Material, Part 2 Buckle Systems, Part 3 It’s What’s Inside That Counts, Part 4 Fitting, Part 5 Sizing. These 5 videos show a broad range of valuable information from a single manufacturer and offer additional exposure.
The standard length of viewing videos is no more than 5 minutes, unless you have something very compelling.
Per minute: $10/each minute
Minimun charge for first video is $25.
Why can’t I advertise my company and slogan verbally, the way I want?
We deliver to our audience (a sophisticated group), rich and valuable content. They are tired of traditional methods of advertising, and they search the web for information, not advertising. They also do not expect a TV experience from the web, nor do they view the web as an alternative from TV.
Businesses that deliver quality information without pushy advertorial are authentic and believable. Advertisers are searching for ways to deliver subliminal messaging as they are fully aware of its power to persuade.
